Ron Jarrett

Chief Executive Officer

Ronald K. Jarrett brings over 30 years of government contracting and small business development experience to Honu Services. Ron has spent his career in the high technology field since graduating from University of California Irvine with a B.S. in computer science. Ron is an active member in the Native Hawaiian community currently serving as the chairman of the board for non-profit Nā ‘Ōiwi Kāne, board member of the Friends of Iolani Palace, member of the Native Hawaiian Advisory Council to the US Army, ranking member of the Royal Order of Kamehameha I, and former board member of the Prince Kuhio Hawaiian Civic Club, and Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce.

Away from work, Ron enjoys spending time with his family.

Jim Wood

Chief Operating Officer

Jim is a former U.S. Navy F-14 fighter pilot who logged hundreds of day and night carrier landings flying missions over Iraq and Bosnia. He also spent time teaching Leadership and Aviation Combat Tactics at the United States Naval Academy. Before joining the Navy, Jim was an accomplished professional actor who performed nationally including Off-Broadway in New York City. He's spent the last 20 years working within the defense industry as a corporate executive. Jim holds a M.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland.

Tanya McKenney

Vice President of Human Resources 

Tanya has over 18 years of experience specializing in small to mid-size organizations providing guidance and leadership.  Her professional experience include executive level management, organizational development, employee relations, and talent acquisition.  She brings extensive knowledge in various industries including professional services, hospitality and technology.  Also, she has over 10 years of FSO experience, directing security measures necessary to protect classified information.  Tanya will ensure that the human resources technologies are aligned and consistent across the entire Nā ‘Ōiwi Kāne enterprise. 

Tanya graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas with a B.S. in Hotel Administration with a concentration in human resources.

Laura Mayo

Chief Regulatory Compliance Officer

Laura started her career as an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Small Business Administration in Washington, DC where she worked on a wide range of issues related to small business government contracting and served as a subject matter expert with respect to entity-owned participation in small business programs.  Laura is experienced in administrative litigation before SBA's Office of Hearings and Appeals and the Government Accountability Office.  She has also clerked for judges in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and Denver District Court.  Laura attended the University of Pennsylvania where she received a B.A. in Economics.  She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law where she served as a Senior Editor of the Virginia Tax Review.

Shaneva D. McReynolds, P.h.D

Vice President of Contracts Management

Shaneva jump-started her career as a program analyst for a Department of Defense contractor managing multimillion-dollar funding for programs such as the Missile Defense Agency Test Planning & Execution, Defense Information Systems Agency, and Space & Missile Defense Command. Before joining the Nā ‘Ōiwi Kāne enterprise, Shaneva enjoyed 13 years as the Director of Business Management for a veteran-owned small business in the defense industry.

She also has extensive experience in developing quality and assurance processes. Shaneva holds a doctoral degree from Walden University in Public Policy & Administration. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Alabama Huntsville where she also earned the Certified Federal Contract Management professional designation. Shaneva has an MBA from the University of Phoenix with a concentration in eBusiness.

Kristie Kido

Vice President of Finance

Kristie Kido has over twenty-five years of experience in the Accounting field within multiple industries. She has her B.S. in Business with a core focus on Project Management, a master certificate in contract management and an associate certificate in government contracting. Her familiarity with project accounting has allowed her to grow within the federal contracting realm. For the past eleven years, she has enjoyed working with a great group of people whom embodies the word “ohana” (family).

Joshua Gonzalez

Vice President of Enterprise Development

Joshua has held multiple positions and functions in the NOK family of companies for over a decade.  These included Project Manager, CFO, and pricing and managing multi-million dollar proposal efforts.  Josh grew up and went to school in Hawaii earning degrees in Management Information Systems and Finance.  He was a scholarship athlete at two different universities in two different sports.  Passions include gymnastics, travel, cooking, and foreign languages.
